Krøderen Spa Yoga Retreat

Spa and Yoga Retreat for a Norwegian client is about to be submitted for Planning Approval.

The project in Central Buskerud (Norway) describes a sharp-edged volume which fits into its surroundings through its simplicity and homogeneous appearance. In being used as a yoga and spa retreat, and by virtue of the site gently sloping towards lake Krøderfjorden to the south, the building’s design is oriented to best capture the views of surrounding landscape as well as following Passivhaus principles in order to absorb the sun’s heat energy to warm a building during the winter.
