RISE Design Studio has been shortlisted for the Architect’s Journal Retrofit Awards 2019, which recognises creative excellence in the adaptive re-use of existing buildings.

The shortlisted project, Birch & Clay Refugio, is a residential extension and refurbishment on the Kensal Rise and Harlesden borders, North West London. The project transforms a Victorian terraced ground floor flat and has been listed within the House below £250,000 category. 

The 2019 winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at The Brewery in London on Wednesday, 11 September 2019. We wish all nominated practices the best of luck!
